HSK levels the national scholarships ask for

Unofficial summary · Sources checked

The Chinese Government Scholarship asks HSK Level 3 for its Chinese-taught general scholar and senior scholar programmes and HSK Level 4 for its Chinese-taught master's and doctoral programmes (Application Guide for Chinese Government Scholarship, Section IV, items 8–10). The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship 2025 sets HSK Level 6, 5, 4 or 3 by category, and its guidelines print the minimum score and HSKK line where each category requires them. Check your level against both documents with the scholarship match: it compares HSK level only and prints the minimum score from each entry for you to check.
